  • The SECUSO research group focuses on Human-Computer Interaction and Usable Security and Privacy. Our goal is to develop solutions that both raise awareness and protect users' cy-bersecurity and privacy while being usable and privacy-friendly.

    We are now developing a new browser extension to help email users to better distinguish be-tween legitimate and phishing emails. The basic implementation has been already realised and It now needs to be further developed. The student's role would be developing the extension and provide its ongoing maintenance. They would be the main code developer of the new extension, operating under the supervision of the SECUSO member in charge of the project.

     

    Tasks:

    • Development of the extension code
    • Expansion of the extension functionalities

    • Continuous maintenance of the extension after its release

     

    Qualifications:

    • Independent and structured work

    • Experience programming in JavaScript

    • Good English knowledge (spoken and written)
