Curriculum Vitae

Philipp Matheis arbeitet seit 2022 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der SECUSO-Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Dr. Melanie Volkamer. Zuvor schloss er sein Masterstudium der Informatik am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) im Jahr 2022 ab.

Philipp Matheis ist Teil des Teams „Human & Societal Factors“ im Rahmen von Engineering Secure Systems (ESS), das 2011 vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung als eines von drei Kompetenzzentren für Cybersicherheit in Deutschland gegründet wurde. Aktuelle Forschungsbereiche sind elektronische Wahlen und Authentifizierung in virtuellen Realitäten.

Innerhalb der Gruppe ist er zuständig für die Weiterentwicklung des TORPEDO Add-Ons sowie Teile der gruppeninternen IT-Infrastruktur.

  • Betreuung Teamprojekt Wirtschaft und Technologie: Implementierung einer Web-Applikation zur Verwaltung und Erstellung von Phishing-Nachrichten 2026 (SS)
  • Betreuung Praktikum Security, Usability and Society: Entwicklung von Mock-ups eines Online-Wahlsystems basierend auf dem Second-Device-Approach 2025/2026 (WS)
