Security of Electronic Voting

Security is critical in voting systems, preventing the manipulation of the election result and ensuring other democratic principles such as secrecy of the vote. In particular in electronic voting, the introduction of technology opens up new risks. On these pages the works of the SECUSO research group are presented, that consider the question of the security of electronic voting systems, such as general framework for defining the security requirements for e-voting, methods to quantify the security of the voting systems and cryptographic protocols for secure Internet voting.
