Research Seminar

The SECUSO research seminar takes place on Thursday, every week during the semesters and irregularly during the semester breaks. Various types of presentations are held by either guest researchers, PhD students, PostDocs,  or master/bachelor students: e.g.

  • Practise talks - before leaving for conferences
  • Guests talks - if you are interest in presenting, get in touch
  • Further talks - e.g. discussing first ideas for papers or project proposals, presenting research, ...

The talks are either held in English or German. The language of the talk is announced at the bottom of the corresponding calendar entry. The length of the talks depends; e.g. on the slot at the conference or the requirements for the bachelor / master students.
The presentations are open to the public, especially for students.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. If you want to give a talk please get in touch with Mattia Mossano who organizes the research seminars. We need the title and abstract of the talk four weeks in advance to announce it in our newsletter.

You can integrate the SECUSO research calendar in your own calender by using this link. In addition, you can register here for the mailing list which is used to send invitations to the various research seminar talks.

The calendar also lists the events in the "Distinguished Lectures in Cybersecurity" series. More information on these event are available at the official webpage https://dls.kastel.kit.edu/
