Research Seminar

The SECUSO research seminar takes place every week during the semesters and irregularly during the semester breaks. Various types of presentations are held by either guest researchers, PhD students, PostDocs,  or master/bachelor students: e.g.

  • Thesis talks - summarizing the thesis
  • Practise talks - before leaving for conferences
  • Idea talks - discussing first ideas for papers or project proposals
  • Guests talks - if you are interest in presenting, get in touch

Once a month there is a KASTEL seminar talk during the semester. As both seminars are scheduled for Thursdays and as both are on security topics, there will be no SECUSO reserach seminar in case there is a KASTEL seminar talk scheduled for the same day. In future, we plan to have a common calendar for both security related research seminars.
The talks are either in English or German. The language of the talk is announced at the bottom of the corresponding calendar entry. The length of the talks depends; e.g. on the slot at the conference or the requirements for the bachelor / master students. The presentations are  open to the public, especially for students.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. If you want to give a talk please get in touch with Nina Gerber who organizes the research seminars. We need, title and abstract 4 weeks in advance to announce the talk in our newsletter.
You can integrate the SECUSO research calendar in your own calender by using this google link (note: it is not necessary to have a google account in order to do so).
