Privacy Friendly Battleship App

The Privacy Friendly Battleship-app lets you play the classic game "Battleship" on your smartphone. The objective of the game is to destroy your opponent’s fleet by firing on his or her game board.

The game offers two modes:

  • Player vs Computer
  • Player vs. Player

The player can choose between the game board sizes 5x5 and 10x10 and place his/her ships individually. Before placing the ships, the player can choose the number of ships he or she wants to use in this game. Ships of sizes 2 (destroyer), 3 (cruiser), 4 (battleship) and 5 (carrier) are possible.

In the following points the Privacy Friendly Battleship-app differs from other similar apps:

  1. No permissions 
    Privacy Friendly Battleship does not require any permission. 
  2. No advertisement
    Many other free apps in the Google Play Store dazzle annoying advertising which also shortens battery life.

We offer several ways to download the app:

  • Official Google Play Store (Feel free to provide feedback, see contact. We would be pleased to receive a positive rating if you like the app).
  • F-Droid Store (The F-Droid Store is an open source software store where you can download the APK-file of the app. Apps installed that way won't receive any updates, unless you regularly download the newest version from the F-Droid website or use the official F-Droid Store App).
